Oborevwori to Strengthen Ties with Julius Berger in Germany
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is set to embark on a pivotal working visit to Germany to strengthen ties with renowned construction firm Julius Berger.
This disclosure was made by the Hon Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr. Charles Ehiedu Aniagwu, during a press briefing held in Asaba.
According to Aniagwu, the visit aims to deepen technical collaboration and enhance project delivery, secure better deals and concessions for Delta State’s infrastructure projects.
Commissioner Aniagwu said that it will also foster a stronger partnership between Delta State and Julius Berger.
The Governor’s visit he affirmed is expected to yield significant benefits for the state, including improved infrastructure development and enhanced project delivery and cost efficiency.
The visit builds on Delta State’s previous successful international engagements, including a trip to China that resulted in the award of major contracts he noted..
According to Aniagwu, “With this strategic move, Delta State is poised to reap the benefits of enhanced collaboration and improved infrastructure, further driving growth and progress in the state.”
The Governor’s visit is slated to take place in the coming days, and he will be accompanied by key officials, including the Commissioner for Works and the Technical Assistant to the Governor.
