The objective of the project is to have a roadmap on how to localize renewable energy , identify investors and partners , as well as identify and articulate the focal points which are , education , health, security , agriculture and information technology .

Be it as it may , the lack of institutional and administrative framework, coupled with poor electricity regulation and a near moribund structure , stood as a big challenge to the actualization of this dream. It was therefore no surprise , when CTH came calling again , on Oct. 28, 2025 , in Asaba , for a workshop , involving stakeholders from government institutions , private sector , civil society organizations and players in the energy sector ,on how to tame the monster , militating against the electricity act in Delta State .

Speaking at the workshop , CTH manager , energy access , Mr. Kolade Kolawole , said the engagement was under the advancing renewable energy and sustainable livelihoods in Delta State , emphasising that it marks CTHs second phase of activity in the State, and also noting that , activities will now shift from policy articulation , to operational readiness and market confidence .That meeting later culminated into a roadmap for the state led electricity governance , which is in line with the provision of the electricity act . The communique reached are as follows

Embedding social equity in market design

These activities by clean Tech Hub, from 2022. to 2025 , through the support of HBS and the Delta State Govt , highlights the positive impacts and achievements it has recorded in Delta State , through conception , partnering and execution

Moving further , it is pertinent to note that CTH is also working with women groups and women trade associations , with their groups accross the country, to become fempreneurs and champion Africa’s clean energy advancement . Also, the organization provides training and career mentoring , as well as spearhead practical training in renewable energy installation and maintenance , with soft training accross the value chain of the renewable energy industry.
